Interior design & Styling for Short-term Rental
Newport, Rhode Island
This thoughtfully renovated condo in the heart of Newport a balance between coastal New England charm and curated designer style, creating a refined retreat for the discerning short-term guest. The aesthetic is rooted in timeless architecture—crown molding, built-ins, and brass fixtures—while layered styling and natural textures bring a fresh, lived-in elegance.
Design Approach
Our goal was to transform the space into a sanctuary that feels both curated and comfortable, with moments of visual storytelling throughout. The design strikes a balance between cozy and refined, creating inviting, livable spaces that don’t compromise on sophistication. Classic architectural details—like crown molding, built-ins, and statement lighting—are paired with modern functionality, while thoughtful styling and layered vignettes give the home a lived-in yet polished feel.
Key Elements
Color Palette: A base of warm neutrals—sage, soft whites, and muted taupes—anchors the space, complemented by rich terracottas, olive greens, and fresh coastal hues.
Furnishings: A mix of vintage-inspired casegoods, velvet seating, and clean-lined modern pieces create a harmonious dialogue between old and new.
Lighting & Accents: From statement chandeliers to artful sconces, lighting was selected to enhance mood and add sculptural interest. Botanical arrangements, framed art, and layered textiles inject soul and depth into each room.
Kitchen & Bath: Custom millwork, artisan tile, and natural stone elevate the practical spaces while maintaining warmth and approachability.
Every corner of this home was designed with intention—to invite rest, spark connection, and reflect the timeless beauty of coastal New England living.
“Molly and Kevin are absolutely stupendous! There is no one who does branding and design like them!! They built out a boutique brand for my company and captured a unique interior design vision for my home. Working with them is easy, yet stern as they steer your company or home to its full potential. Look no further if you’re in need of branding, website design, interior design…really anything design!”
