About Us

We are a creative direction studio.

Our work brings together brand strategy, visual storytelling, and spatial identity, where every creative decision serves a larger idea.

From brand identity and digital presence to art direction, photography, and content systems, our work is built for businesses where aesthetics carry real weight.

BASED IN BRISTOL, RHODE ISLAND
Working across New York, Miami, and select international markets.

Our work transforms conceptual ideas into artful, brand aligned expressions. From interior styling and brand photography to visual identity, editorial websites, and content direction, we translate the ideas behind a business into something people can actually see and feel. The standard we hold ourselves to is simple: does it look like it belongs in the world our client actually lives in?

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Molly Messier

Molly Messier is a creative director whose work spans brand strategy, spatial identity, and visual storytelling. Before founding Messi Thoughts Creative, she spent a few years working within a full-service creative agency managing social media direction for interior designers and luxury firms across the United States— from emerging design studios to firms recognized on the Luxe Gold List, Elle Decor A-List, and AD100.

That foundation in interiors shaped everything. Understanding how a space is meant to feel, and how to translate that feeling into a digital presence, is what separates creative direction from design execution. It's the difference between a brand that looks good and one that reads true. She has also taken on interior design and styling projects directly, bringing the same editorial eye to physical spaces that informs her brand work.

Having spent four years living in Rome, Italy, her eye has been shaped by a city where ancient architecture and contemporary design coexist. She also spent time living in Barcelona, Spain working in international art production and immersing in a city whose creative energy is instinctive and bold. Together, these experiences inform every project: brands built from the foundation up, with imagery and digital presence that hold up to the work behind them.

The clients she's drawn to are the ones who have built something real and are ready for their presence to fully reflect it.

CO-FOUNDER & CREATIVE STRATEGIST

Kevin Hung-Liang

Kevin Hung-Liang is the strategic mind behind Messi Thoughts Creative. With a background spanning data analysis, content production, and strategic business development, he shapes the direction of both the studio and the work it produces— identifying opportunities, building systems, and making the calls that keep the business moving with intention.

His role in client work is equally multidisciplinary. Kevin leads all video production and post-production, bringing a filmmaker's sense of rhythm and pacing to brand content that most studios treat as an afterthought. The result is work that moves just right.

Outside the studio, Kevin is a composer and music educator. He finds clarity in wilderness and silence, and that sensibility shows up quietly in everything he makes.

Our Mission:

Focused designer leaning over a round table covered with project plans and branding materials in a bright, sophisticated office space

Messi Thoughts Creative exists because two people with very different perspectives looked at the same problem and saw something better.

Molly sees the world through composition, materiality, and narrative. Kevin sees it through systems, rhythm, and strategy. Together, we create brand work that is both visually considered and structurally sound. And we do it at whatever level the project requires, from brand identity and website design to destination photography and full creative direction on location.

The clients we do our best work with share one thing: they take their brand as seriously as they take their work.
